We advise you to install all recommended plugins to enjoy all the theme features. It’s easy to install and activate them in one click.
Follow these steps after you activated Overflow:
- Go to Appearance → Install Plugins.
- Select all the plugins in the list and choose Install from the Dropdown menu.
- Click Apply.
You may also install plugins by simply clicking the Begin Installing Plugins link in the notification message that appears after theme activation.
In order to comply with the WordPress Theme Requirements, we use an external library for extending the WordPress Customizer controls. It allows us, as theme developers, to create advanced options with live-preview and keep theme code clean and fast-performing. The Kirki Toolkit plugin can be safely deactivated after you have finished configuring Overflow.
Powerkit is our own in-house plugin, hosted in the official WordPress repository. It extends the basic features of the theme and includes a lot of advanced components to your website, like share buttons, social links, social integrations, Retina images, and others.
If you install Overflow on an existing site, you need to regenerate thumbnails with this plugin.
